We're going to be giving out drinks and snacks tomorrow morning in front of <a href="http://everything.typepad.com/blog/2008/05/six-apart-suppo.html">Six Apart World HQ</a> to cyclists for Bike to Work Day and I'm getting everything stickered up for it. We're also going to be collecting donations for AIDS/LifeCycle. Even if you can't swing by on a bike, you can still <a href="http://www.aidslifecycle.org/2008">make a donation online</a>.

A plaque marks the spot where the American flag was first raised in San Francisco by commander John B. Montgomery (much has been named in San Francisco for him) of the USS Portsmouth (for which the square is named) on July 9, 1846.
