The SF Chronicle was at the courthouse for the California Supreme Court ruling today for reactions. You can spot San Francisco City Hall, where all of this began four years ago, kitty-corner in the background.

This choked me up a little. Such a beautiful day to be in this city, and I'm so proud to call it home today.

Thanks Jamison for posting this! Stefan and I wish we lived in California so it was legal but who knows Maryland and other states around us I am sure aren't far behind! What really choked me up was the oddly paired lesbian couple towards the end, who choked me up when they paused for a moment, one kissed the other on the forehead and just took it all in that they have to plan a wedding now. Regardless of whatever happens in November, this is our moment to savor in our community's march not to be equal or normal, but to be the same and be treated the same.
