QotD: Set Your DVR

What TV show(s) will you be watching this season? Why?

Lost. I've been drawn in by the characters (except for Michael) and slow unfolding of their stories throguh the flashbacks. Then there's the mystery of the island and the numbers which has turned into so many more mysteries surrounding the DHARMA Initiative, the others, the Hanso Foundation, "the incident" and now the Valenzetti Equation.

Battlestar Galactica. A great cast playing the part of humans on the verge of extinction and pushed to their limits and well aware there are cylon are living among them. Confined to ships in space just heightness how fragile their existance is right now. The second season got very weak, but I hope they've learned their lesson and there won't be very bad filler episodes this year.

I'm still recording the Simpson's, but I don't end up watching many of them before they get deleted. I'll probably end up watching every episode of Desperate Housewives, but I don't really like any of the characters and thought think it's kind of lame. A guilty pleasure. Invasion was cancelled or else It would be one of my must see shows.

I don't usually watch new shows because they tend to be cancelled if I like them, like Invasion. If a show is any good I can watch it on DVD later.
